Chng Huck Theng was appointed as the acting president of Malaysia’s oldest art society, the Penang Art Society. Former president Dato’ Koh Wee Khian retired in the age of 93 being the last remaining founder of this association. He was the 3rd president and have been a member since the very first day 56 years ago. Chng is the youngest to lead this prestigious society.

Chng was appointed Member, Board of Trustees, National Art Gallery Malaysia. He is the youngest to serve in the board.

After a successful exhibition in Malaysia and Indonesia 2007/08 entitled ‘The Journey’, Chng is currently working on a new series entitled ‘Mystical Adventure’. The artist promises yet another exciting yet interesting adventure for both the creator and the art lovers.
